Privacy Policy

Effective: September 5, 2026

Toon Town Beacon is an independent fan-made Toontown companion. This policy describes how the current version handles information.

Information stored on your device

Beacon stores app preferences locally in your browser or installed web app. This may include favorite Cogs, alert settings, onboarding status, and Toon Checklist items. These items are intended to remain on your device.

Accounts and ToonHQ

Beacon does not currently operate its own account system and does not ask for your Toontown Rewritten password. When you use the Group Portal, account, ToonSync, and group actions are handled by ToonHQ on ToonHQ's service.

Public game data

Beacon retrieves public game information from Toontown Rewritten services, such as invasions, population, Field Offices, the Silly Meter, and Doodle information.

Hosting and technical logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information needed to serve the site, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and requested pages. Beacon itself does not currently add advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Third-party websites

Links to ToonHQ, Toontown Rewritten, and other third-party services are governed by those services' own privacy policies.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Beacon adds features such as background notifications or optional accounts.

Contact

Contact information will be added here before any feature is launched that requires users to submit personal information directly to Beacon.
